Week 27 Update

picture taken 2/3/14

How far along: 27 weeks
Total weight gain: Exactly 20 lbs as of 2/4/14
Stretch marks? Still none :)
Sleep: Still sleeping pretty good. I'm pretty much a stomach sleeper so as I've gotten bigger its been interesting. I've had to be a little creative with my sleeping positions. There is no enough room in our bed for a body pillow, so I have to improvise most of the time.
Best moment this week: Becoming an Aunt!!! On Tuesday my sister had her little girl, and she is so beautiful! Jessica and her husband, John, are so happy, it is adorable! Also, my mom is the cutest (not to mention hottest) grandma ever, she is just loving it. I can't wait to go see them all and meet beautiful little Riley at the end of the month!
Movement: She is still going crazy in there! She is actually head down already, but I swear she is either head butting me or yanking on stuff. This little girl is a mover and a shaker! ha
Anything making you sick? Nope, this mama is feeling great!
Gender: Girl!!
Labor signs: nope
Symptoms: Back pain especially if I sit or stand for a long period of time, skin breakouts, and so so tired.
Belly button in or out? Still in, but smaller everyday
Wedding rings on or off? On most of the time.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!
Looking forward to:  Our child birthing class this month and going to California to meet Riley!

Week 25 update

Picture taken 1/24/2014

How far along: 25 weeks and 4 days
Total weight gain: 16-18 lbs (not 100% sure. we'll see at my appointment next week)
Stretch marks? Still none! Woo Hoo! We'll see how long this keeps up ;-)
Sleep: I'm sleeping alright. Some days I sleep like a rock and stay that way and other nights every little thing wakes me up a billion times a night, bit at least I'm not consistently sleeping terrible.
Best moment this week: watching our little girl make my belly bouncy around with her wild kicks!!
Miss anything:
Movement: She moves so much! I am constantly feeling her kick me. I can always expect it after I eat, but now she just moves all day. Usually, there is an hour to two hour gap where I don't feel movement, so she must be sleeping sometime haha She loves to move at like 10:30-11:00 at night when I'm trying to go to sleep haha Plus she always starts kicking when Robbie puts pandora on, apparently she like his taste in music. I actually think she just wants to be part of the party ;-) She is constantly making me smile with those little movements in there! I could just sit and feel her move all day and be perfectly happy!
Food cravings: Anything I see on Pinterest or TV. Robbie and I starting watching this show called Best Food Ever and it has made me crave everything from BBQ to cupcakes and cinnamon rolls to Mexican food! If it looks good, I want it haha
Anything making you sick? Not really, I've been feeling great!
Gender: Girl!!
Labor signs: nope
Symptoms: dry and itchy eyes (who knew that was a pregnancy symptom, but it is!), terrible pregnancy brain (there are mashed potatoes where my brain once was. So glad I'm not in school anymore!),
Belly button in or out? Still in, but getting rather tiny
Wedding rings on or off? On most of the time.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! The last couple of weeks have been blissful!!
Looking forward to: Maybe becoming an auntie this week!! Also, I'll be starting my third trimester soon. I'm not excited to become huge and uncomfortable, but I am excited about being closer to holding my little girl!! Lastly, I can't wait for my dr's appointment next week to check on the baby.

Baby Stats for this week:

  •  Baby Bagley is the size of an eggplant or a head of cauliflower depending on your sources.
  • She is about 14 inchs long and 2 pounds already!
  • Her nervous system is developing and this week she has opened her little eyes!
  • She also now knows which way is up and which is down.
  • She has been growing for over six months now!

Week 23 update

These pictures were taken January 1st 2014 on the Pismo Beach Pier

How far along: 23 weeks
Total weight gain: according to my doctors appt on Tuesday I am up 16 lbs which apparently is normal, but that sounds like a lot to me. Also this wasn't all in the last 2 weeks. I haven't really been weighing myself in the last month or two very accurately .
Stretch marks?  Robbie says I have one on the lower part of my belly, but I can't see it, so I am currently in denial.
Sleep: Sleep is great!
Best moment this week: Robbie got to feel the baby move! It was really neat for both of us! We also finally had our anatomy ultrasound where they look at all the baby parts and measure her. It was about 45 minutes long and really really cool! I just wish it was May and I could hold her already! She looked so cute haha Also it was confirmed that she is in fact a girl. That's twice now so we're pretty sure she is a girl haha
Miss anything: This week I'm just missing my family. It's great to be home, but it was great to get to spend a month in Phoenix and a month in Exeter with our families and I miss them already!
Movement: She has been moving like crazy!! At my ultrasound I found out I have an anterior placenta which, for those of you who have never heard of that before, is where the placenta is on the top of my uterus. So it goes in order my belly, uterus, placenta, then baby. All this means is that when you have an anterior placenta you usually don't feel the baby move for the first time until later. This makes sense because I didn't feel her start to move until around 20 weeks. I have been pretty nervous about it because so many other expected mothers had told me that had felt their baby move as early as 16 weeks which was a whole month before I felt mine move! I', just glad everything is alright and I feel her move pretty much all day now.
Food cravings: Nothing in particular, I just love and want all food constantly. Hence the good weight gain haha
Anything making you sick? Just gross things like the lent from the dryer and mopping the floor. Stuff the doesn't really gross other people out or wouldn't normally gross me out seem exponentially gross these days. Plus brushing my teeth and tongue like always.
Gender:  Still a girl in there!!
Labor signs: none
Belly button in or out? In, but getting smaller everyday.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! I've been super happy! Once in awhile I'll be moody, but what's new? haha I've always been moody, just ask Robbie haha

Check out these pictures of our little girl from Tuesday!

Week 20 update

Merry Christmas everyone!! Life has been good recently!! We are currently visiting my family in California and loving it! My belly is getting bigger everyday! I have got to see a lot of my sister who is about 35 weeks pregnant and she is also having a  girl! I love getting to feel her baby move around and kick! I'm so excited to meet her. My brother Sam was baptized two weeks ago and then last weekend my mom and I threw Jessica a baby shower and this weekend we went to her house at the coast for a baby shower her friend threw her, so things have been crazy, but really a lot of fun! As much as I love being here I am excited to go back to Rexburg in a few weeks. I've missed my friends and my bed haha Robbie is also excited to start his last semester of classes. He has some really fun classes and some hard classes, but he is ready for the challenge!!

How far along: 20 weeks 3 days
Total weight gain: Up about 5 lbs
Stretch marks?  None yet
Sleep: somedays I sleep great others I wake up 12 times. It just depends.
Best moment this week: Finally recognizing what it feels like when the baby moves! She's been moving, I just realized it now haha it feel amazing!
Miss anything: nope, I finally got some fully cooked sushi and it was delish!
Movement: I have finally felt her move, and not a whole lot. It has really been cool. Robbie is super jealous that he can't feel it :)
Food cravings: I have basically just been wanting sweets and spicy foods!
Anything making you sick? Not really, things have been great!
Gender: girl!!! We're so excited!!
Labor signs: none
Belly button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or Moody most of the time: I've been super happy recently! Especially since I'm half way! Woo hoo! Only 20 weeks left and I'll have my little girl in my arms!

Gender Reveal!!

GUESS WHAT WE'RE HAVING?!?!?!!

IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know it's hard to tell from the pictures, but it is in fact a girl! We are so so so excited for our little girl!! I alrerady went shopping and bought her some adorable outfits!! This is where the fun begins!! Picking out clothes, decorating the nursery, buying cute headbands and so much more!!

Here are some pictures from the ultrasound:

Week 18 Update

How far along:
18 weeks 4 days
Total weight gain: Turns out my parents don't own a scale haha so I probably won't be tracking my weight for a while.
Stretch marks?  None yet
Sleep: I have not been sleeping well. Most nights I wake up 2 or 3 times because I'm uncomfortable or I get a leg cramp or to use the bathroom.
Best moment this week: Finding out the gender and going shopping for the baby!!
Miss anything: nope, not really. I've actually really been enjoying my second trimester and I'm loving being pregnant right now!
Movement: I'm pretty sure I felt the baby move a couple of times!! Usually in the afternoon when I sit down because I'm tired. It doesn't feel like there is something in there though, it just feels like I'm nervous/upset stomach/gas.
Food cravings: I'm not really craving anything special right now. Basically, I'm just hungry ALL. THE. TIME.
Anything making you sick? Coughing or brushing my teeth still makes me gag and occasionally toss my cookies....like I did this week in the parking lot of Panera Bread after getting a seed of a lemon stuck in my throat...yeah that sucked. Also, anything that is kind of gross makes me sick to my stomach. Apparently, I'm wimpy now...
Gender: On the 2nd, I had an appointment at Peek-A-Baby in Fresno to see our little baby and my parents and brothers were able to come to my gender scan. It was so fun! The baby was being very shy, it had it's legs crossed and the umbilical cord between it's legs (notice how I'm not telling your the gender). Finally after lots of me moving and turn my hips we finally got the right view to see the baby's goods ;-) Watch for our announcement to come soon!
Labor signs: none
Symptoms: leg cramps, hungry all the time, some back pain that's about it.
Belly button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Since I saw my baby, I've been a lot happier and not so moody. I've just been really worried. I don't know if I've ever been this happy in my entire life. I just feel like right now everything is perfect! I am so blessed and I am so grateful!
Looking forward to: Our family and gender announcement pictures tomorrow! Sam's baptism tomorrow! Getting bigger and looking a little more pregnant.

Week 16 update

So this week I have slacked a little. I don't have a picture. I figured since I will be 17 weeks in 2 days I will just wait u ntil then for my next bump picture. I'm just doing a quick update of what my week was like.

How far along: 16 weeks 5 days
Total weight gain:  I'm still down a half a pound from my pre-pregnancy weight. My weight has been fluctuating back and forth 2 pounds so we'll see when it finally sticks.
Stretch marks? none yet
Sleep: I am still sleeping quite well. However, I can't sleep on my back anymore and I wake up at least once to go the bathroom. Overall not bad.
Best moment this week: Robbie younger brother Tyler got married this week to his new wife Ashley. They are so adorable and their wedding was beautiful! We were so lucky to be there to see them be sealed in the Boise, Idaho temple!! I am so happy for them and their new life together! It really takes me back to when Robbie and I were married more than 2.5 years ago!
Miss anything: I am so missing sushi :(
Movement: I think I may have felt something the other day, but I don't know really...we'll see if I feel it again. I just want to feel this baby already, I know its early, most first time moms don't feel the baby until 18 weeks, so i'm trying to relax.
Food cravings: Salad, oranges, greek olives, cranberry everything, stuffing (good thing this week is thanksgiving!), Cherry Slushi from the movies haha,
Anything making you sick? nothing special, just random weird smells, and not eating
Gender: We will know soon!!
Labor signs: none yet
Symptoms: Nausea is back...yay, back pain, but that could be from the way I sleep, my belly is growing..sometimes of the day I actually look pregnant instead of just fat, pregnancy brain is setting in...seriously I think I've gone crazy haha, I am still breaking out..no glowy skin here
Belly button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Again I've been moody, but a different kind of moody this week. I have been really worrying about my little baby and it has really started to hit me that my life is going to change forever. Its almost like it has started to hit me that I'm pregnant and I'm going to be a mother and for the rest of my life I am going to be worried about this baby. It hit me a couple of days ago that this baby will be here in less than 6 monthes and we are not even a little ready! I am starting to be really scared for the future! Don't get me wrong I love this baby so much and want it more than anything, but I am scared out of my mind to be in charge and responsible for someone else's life!! I am really starting to sound like a mom and that freaks me out!
Looking forward to: Seeing our little baby in less than a week!!!!!! At which time we will fing out gender!!!!!!! Then I can stop calling it an it haha and I can buy some cute little clothes!!!!!

This week the baby is the size of an avacado and/or the size of my palm. 4.6 in long and on average weighs about 3.5 oz. The baby has also started to hear!! Look at that baby grow ;-)

Best moment this week: I had my first prenatal massage...oh that was awesome haha also Robbie celebrated his 25th birthday this week!!! Woo hoo!!
Miss anything: I am dying for some sushi and when I made Robbie's cake I really wanted to lick the batter off the spoon :( I miss my raw food haha

Gender: Basically everyone thinks its a boy. Robbie's had 2 dreams about it being a boy. Me? I don't really care. Girl names are kind of easier for us. We just made our appointment for December 2nd to find out the gender!!!
Labor signs: Nope.
